The Doctor Who Works For You
The U.S. healthcare system is brilliant at many things — but giving patients enough time, attention, and advocacy isn't always one of them. Doctors are rushed. Appointments are short. Specialists don't always talk to each other. And patients are left to navigate a complex system at the most stressful moments of their lives.
Pilot Rock Medical Navigators exists to fix that.
We're an independent physician-led consulting service. We don't work for a hospital, an insurance company, or a health system.
We work for you.
Dr. Robert Sadock, MD
Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Sadock is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale Medical Center and is on the faculty of Yale Medical School. Over a career spanning decades, Dr. Sadock has helped hundreds of patients navigate complex medical situations. What began as informal help for friends and neighbors grew into a steady stream of referrals — people reaching out because someone they trusted told them: "Call Dr. Sadock. He'll know what to do." That demand led to the founding of Pilot Rock Medical Navigators, a formal practice built around the work Dr. Sadock was already doing — reviewing diagnoses, connecting patients with the right specialists, and making sure nothing gets missed.
Carol Kagdis, APRN
Carol has been on the front lines of patient care for more than 30 years — as a nurse, nurse supervisor, and later as a nurse practitioner. She has worked in hospitals, schools, clinics, and in the medical department of a major manufacturing company. She is a fierce patient advocate who is both knowledgeable and compassionate. A breast cancer survivor, Carol credits Dr. Sadock with directing her to lifesaving care in the face of a dire diagnosis. Her personal experience navigating a serious illness makes her uniquely equipped to help others through theirs.
